Hiatus and singer Shura, are both solo artists who joined forces in a collaboration to make a song that is absolutely mesmerizing and magical. As what DJ London mentioned on his segment in the radio, their new hit song would definitely mesmerize you. The song was a dub step with depth and emotion. In my ears there is something warm and comforting on Hiatus and Shura’s music. So far these two singers are the only ones who have an EP available on their Band Camp and a few tracks on their respective Sound Cloud profiles.
An album should be on its way, but it looks like it won’t be that soon though the following tracks would testify that the collaboration between the two singers will definitely be interesting to follow and deserves a second album.

On Hiatus’ sound cloud profile is the beautiful number, Third. In this version, you cannot hear Shura’s vocals but with this vocal, it demonstrates that the couple live versions are unbelievably enough and is even more magical. Tune in at approximately 1:43 of the track and listen for yourself. Third is the third and last number on the playlist.
It’s only a week ago that Goodie Bag, posted a song for the 17-year-old Beat Culture. A kid named Sunik Kim from Hong Kong (but really Korean), who is now living in New Hampshire, USA, where he goes to boarding school. He categorizes his music as “experimental, glitch-dream-dub chill wave food-hop” and it is not entirely shot on the side. He uses extensively various samples from other artists to create new harmonies. In the dreamy, “Before you go” from the aforementioned Goodie Bag sampler is Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” and Mondo Grosso’s – “1974 Way Home”. It is also the first track from the upcoming London DJ Tokyo Dreamer, as Beat Culture plans to publish at his “graduation” day next year -3 June, 2012
If Only is a new addition to the family – and Beat Beat Culture’s strongest number so far. It reaches almost majestic heights with its glittering synch epic, wide soundstage and nice flow. Sample credits are: Alicia Keys, Marvin Gaye, The Beach Boys and Office Space.
