Indian Idol is an interactive reality talent show that was created by Simon Fuller and it has a number of 5 seasons. The show was originally aired on the SET television network and the winner of the first season was Abhijeet Sawant. It has a maximum running time of approximately two hours. The first season was aired on Sony TV from the fifth of October in the year 2004 to the fifth of March in the year 2005. The judges of season one and two include Alisha Chinai, Anu Malik and Farah Khan as well as Sonu Nigam among others. The first runner up in the first season was Amit Sana from Bhilai while the second and third were Rahul from Nagpur and Shukkre from Jabalpur MP respectively. This talent show has been on air since the year 2004 and its producers are Namit Sharmar and Ashok. Its directors include Vishal Mull, Partha Thakur and Priya Bhave Sharma among others.
